Quick Greyhawk 5th Edition Update

Real quick update on the 5E Greyhawk material.

The Greyhawk 576 Players Manual is very far along. Races, classes, backgrounds, feats, spells, and quick descriptions of the Lands of the Flanaess are done. 23 gods out of 70 are completed, 13 are mostly done, and the rest still need to be started. Factions are about halfway done.

The DM's Guide to Greyhawk 576 is in a much less complete state. 14 nations out of 63 are finished, the rest are mostly done. Geographical features, history, and climate are done, but weather, cosmology (both the crystal sphere and the planes) are not yet started. Magic items are about halfway done, but monsters and notable NPCs are also not yet started.

Back to the gods of Greyhawk I go!

I should also mention that the playtest is still going on, and new material is constantly being sent to the playtesters. If you'd like to participate, please email greyhawkgrognard@gmail.com and I'll send you the NDA for you and your players to sign.

Dang! Sounding good. I put together something for my upcoming 5e Great Kingdom campaign, but I just compiled stuff from the Net and that took about a week to get formatted. I only things like the house and table rules, some explanations for how deities would work for clerics.

I know you LOVE Greyhawk, so I can'y wait!!! ~happy dance~

Is there a mailing list to inform us Greyhawk fans that this is ready? If so, I really really want to get on it. I; ve been playing since the 70's (yes, I know I'm old) and this is my primary campaign setting preference.

No mailing list, but I will certainly endeavor to make sure news of this, if and when it ever arrives, is spread far and wide.

I would be happy to aid in spreading the news.

I think I'm in love.

I'd be thrilled to get my hands on this-a compilation of canon information available in one spot would be extremely useful for my writings. Best of all, it's set in 576 so it can be brought forward as needed.

Will these be available in printed book format, or just as PDFs?

The intention is to make them available in both print and pdf, but I'll need to figure out how to handle the maps.

Oops. Did I not mention the maps before? I guess I didn't...

There will be maps. ;-)
