Temple of Elemental Evil boardgame coming

This just in from our friends in Renton...
Other products tied into the Elemental Evil storyline include the Temple of Elemental Evil Adventure System Board Game and pre-painted collectible miniatures, both from WizKids Games. WizKids has also partnered with Perfect World Entertainment to bundle in-game items for Neverwinter with the Temple of Elemental Evil Adventure System Board Game and miniatures boosters.
This is something of a change, since up until now all I've heard of (in the tabletop realm, anyway) was connected to the Princes of the Apocalypse storyline set in the Forgotten Realms.

A Temple of Elemental Evil board game? Count me in!

Both excitement and trepidation coming from this guy. Trying to be optimistic. My group is more open to board games at least.

Does this mean new Greyhawk RPG stuff DnD?

No.

Like how they are doing the tie ins. I wonder if, like Dungeon Command, the WizKid mini's will have Adventure Game System cards. Perhaps we'll see a TOEE enhanced edition PC game. only thing I'm a bit disappointed about is that there isn't a tie in to the DDO:Eberron Unlimited MMO. As they have a portal to the Forgotten Realms I figured TOEE would be there.

Sounds like Frank's idea getting published by WotC...

ENWorld posted some pictures of the game from the NY Toy Fair. Looks pretty cool - a flying dragon, elemental (Air, water and earth?), maybe a Slaad or Salamander for fire, a folk? Zombies, and I think an ettin. Definitely on my list. While it may not be "The" TOEE, it should still be fun.

On another note. Praying for you, if you need anything let us know.

I did see the pics from the Toy Fair, and they were cool indeed (still not available for pre-order on Amazon, though!)

For the second part... Ummm... what?

Joe,

Hopefully the Pre-Order will be up shortly. I'd had a lot of fun with Legend of Drizzt (have the Castle Ravenloft and Wrath of Ashardalon as well - both enjoyable as well).

Reference the prayer stuff for some reason I was writing you, but thinking of James Mishler. He's backed out of the Judges Guild Kickstarter. I blame it on the flu, that coupled with not seeing a posting from you in a while. Anyway prayers, blessings and well wishes your way too!

One other note - Did you see the Sword Coast Legends game, it appears to have some interesting options - 5e ruleset and a DM.
