D&D Club photo circa 1984

Dredged up from my high school yearbook without further comment, I present The Pingry School Dungeons and Dragons Club, 1984:

Anyone else have such artifacts and relics lying around in their yearbooks or other tomes of dread?

Is the kid in front in a wheelchair?

Ah, back in the days when I had hair...

Joseph Bloch said...

No, Charles. I think he was just kneeling.

I was wondering since he was the only one not standing.

That was my first thought: Hey, all of these guys have hair? Which one is Joe? He looks different with hair!

What's the prize for guessing correctly?

LOL

That's the best Players Handbook I've ever seen. Way to play the crap out of it.

Of course, you've got to be the kid holding the DMG.

Were we even in the yearbook? I itch with curiosity and dread.

I second the vote for the striped shirt kid in the back!

(a) That players handbook has seen some real use!
(b) I had that striped shirt. I think I finally threw it out in my last move a few months ago.

Ah, the oversized glasses, polo shirts, and awkward postures.

Brings back memories!

I like that "complex" is a selling point.

Okay, I'll 'fess up. Yes, it was me in the striped shirt. Good eyes, everyone who spotted me.
