Space Shuttle Columbia

Ten years ago today, NASA mission STS-107 ended in tragedy as the Space Shuttle Columbia disintegrated on re-entry in the skies over Texas.

I live in the Dallas Fort Worth area and something woke me up that morning, but I was not sure what it was. I turned on the news (not something I normally do on a Saturday), then took my dog outside. When I came back in, I heard the reports on the TV. I remember that just as clearly as I remember where I was when I heard about the Challenger explosion.
